6 Unbelievable Health Benefits of Bromelain

I'm so tired of having a sinus headache every single time the weather is cloudy or nasty. I've been taking the Aller-Max Supplement and it has helped a lot with allergies but I need something else to take care of the pressure. I did a little research and found this on the internet.

Bromelain Health Benefits

In the medical world, this fascinating compound has traditionally been used as a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling agent. Additionally, recent studies have showed us that it stops lung…

What's New? What's Important? And Stuff!! By: Tammie Davis

I hope everyone is having a great summer.  It's hard to believe that it's already July.  Things here at the TD Camp are busy and challenging but I'm making memories that will last for the rest of my life.  What's New?  Well, it's been a while since I've had a chance to write to you, my awesome fans and friends, and I have missed doing that so much.  Since then, I had the unique opportunity to open for someone in the country music industry that I've looked up to my entire life.  A few months ago I received… Read more

One Night Adventure

My one night adventure led me to a little place right outside of Carthage, NC a few weeks back.  It really caught me by surprise because I thought I was going to a meeting. Sometimes in this business you get so use to “going with the flow” that you don't really hear someone say everything you just try and get most of what they are saying enough to communicate....I know that's not completely clear but it makes sense to other musicians and singers so I'll leave it at that....the book comes later..lol.

So I…

Staying on Track with your New Year's Resolutions

Staying on Track with your New Year's Resolutions

1. Set realistic goals. Oftentimes, people set themselves up for failure by resolving to accomplish impossible tasks. Losing weight is a popular New Year’s resolution, but a goal of losing, say, 20 pounds in a month guarantees disappointment. Instead, outline realistic goals and how to get there.

2. Prepare, prepare, prepare. Whoever said that you had to go cold turkey? Take baby steps to reach your goals. Realize that achieving any goal takes planning… Read more

Looking Back on 2011

Looking back on 2011, it's been a pretty awesome year for me.  I have no complaints at all.  I knew this road was going to be long and hard and don't get me wrong, it is but I have to say that I've been extremely blessed and I'm motivated more than ever and willing to work even harder if that's what it takes.

Where I'm headed exactly is up to fate but I know where I've been and the lessons I've learned especially in the last few years have been priceless.  I've been lucky in that I've had some really good…

My Uncle Bob’s Experience

Well I’ve been waiting sometime now to be able to tell this story so here it is….

A few months back, I received a FB message from Bobby Plowman, owner of Uncle Bob’s Foods, LLC about him being interested in a sponsorship agreement with me. Bobby had heard my song "Tall Dark and Lonesome" on the Radio (WKML 95.7 Fayetteville, NC), that's what made him contact me. I took his email like most of the emails I get, with a grain of salt, and emailed him back and told him when I was available to meet him.  One…

It Breaks My Heart

I get really sad when I read about missing babies or abused children.  It breaks my heart to think that people can actually do these types of things.  What’s wrong with people?  Are they missing part of their brain – the part that tells you to protect the innocent?  Sorry, but that should be a natural feeling and way of living.  I was looking at some pictures on Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio Face book page and saw a picture of a little girl who is missing in Kansas City.  That sparked my interest because… Read more

Press Forward With Your Plan - Personal Goal Setting

I had somebody ask me today what I had in the plans for 2012 and what was coming up that was big news.  I have to say that I always have things in the plans.  The plan might change several times but eventually something will pop out of the bag.  Someone told me recently that you need to have ten irons in the fire before something will get hot and I truly believe that.  I’ve also learned that over the last three and a half years of being in the music industry to not ‘tell all’.  Sometimes it’s hard not to… Read more

Life can be hard but live and love like today is your last.

I remember in January of 2008 when I lost my Dad how I felt so empty inside.  It was like somebody had carved me out like a pumpkin and I just couldn’t fill it back up.  I’ve been seeing a lot of loss recently.  I know how hard it is when you lose someone close to you and I also know that it can eat away at you and that’s all you think about for a really long time.  I cried myself to sleep for the first six months after my father’s passing.  I just wanted to see him one more time standing in the garage… Read more

What's New and Who to Thank?

I know I haven’t posted in a week or so. I’m so sorry. I will try and do better, lol. It’s been a mind blowing week. I am pulled in a lot of different directions - it’s all very good stuff so I can’t complain AT ALL. I’m having the time of my life even though it’s a struggle sometimes. But think about it, life is usually filled with struggles anyway. Why not do what makes you happy and work through the struggles to get to where you want to be? Just say’ in. I wish I could tell you everything that’s… Read more

It's Crazy But Worth It !!

What a crazy last couple days. I can’t wait to write a book, I’m serious. I can’t wait to put all of this down on paper. I’m going to have so much fun remembering, if that’s possible, all of the things that has gotten me from point A to point B to Point C and so on. It’s been a crazy ride so far but I think I get some thrill out of it. In the beginning, when that crazy Mike Jones said the magic words to me and got me motivated about a singing career, people looked at both of us like we were crazy when we… Read more

How Come I Haven't Always Known This?

Why doesn't life come with a manual?  I mean really, I'd like to be able to have known the things I know now when I was a teenager.  It really should be electrontic so that you can just google up the answer, not a computer where everything else gets in your way and distracts you.  This electrontic devise would only have the "right" answers in it and no crappy ones.  I'm really beginning to understand life a lot more especially within the last three years.  I've been fortunate enough to come accross some… Read more

Rehearsal Last Night!

Awesome rehearsal last night with my friend, Leigh Anne Groves and John Nickels. Leigh Anne came over to sing background vocals and we ended up having a blast. You can listen to some of that rehearsal inside "Tammie's Club", just click and join. It's Free and you'll get a free download just for joining. We laughed pretty much the entire time, it's a wonder we got any rehearsal in at all. You'll have to hear her song "You Might Throw-up", not the only one she made up off the cuff last night. She's joining us… Read more

Busy but Productive!

It's been a pretty busy day. I should have gotten up at the crack of dawn but I'm a night owl....go figure. Had lunch with my Attorney, Michael Wells Jr today. We talked about his blog and how he's starting to get a lot more traffic lately, very awesome. He blogs about some pretty interesting legal matters so it's a great way to stay in touch with law and legal matters. Attorney Wells helps me with legal matters and gives advice on contract verbiage, something that I recommend to all up and coming artists… Read more

Another Crazy Week Ahead

Mondays are always crazy because I have to try and figure out how to fit everything into the next five days.  This week I have sponsor meetings, planning sessions, rehearsals, and two gigs.  I'm also working on getting the newsletter out this week too, so needless to say I'm gonna need some off time around Saturday.  It's also my mother's birthday this week, Happy Birthday Mama!  My family still lives in Lincolnton and I try and go there as much as I can to see them.  We'll probably head down this weekend… Read more

Getting Away is sometimes good for the Mind

I was able to get away for a day this week and that's sometimes really great for the mind, and another thing about me, I love to drive.  I don't know what it is about driving but I've always loved it.  It clears my mind and I can put things into perspective.  I realized a lot over the last day or so.  Things are more clear than ever and that's something that I can't say about the last three years.  Chasing your dream to do what makes you happy is hard, no I mean HARD.  A lot of the time all you run into… Read more

At home listenin' to Patty!

Workin' at home today cause sometimes I just have to stop reelin' in my dream long enough to clean the house and wash clothes, I really don't mind doing the house work but I wish I had more time in the day.  Listening to some great country music by Patty Lovelace, one of my favorite all time country artists.  I can remember knowing all the words to her songs in the 90s, she's still going strong in the bluegrass world where she stays on the charts.  Well back to it, just wanted to stop for a minute and say… Read more

Recap of July 2011

Hey Everybody,
Hope you've had a great July.  It's been really crazy for me.  I'm still high from the excitement of winning the CM Award for Female Country Artist of the Year.  What an honor and exciting time.  I remember sitting in the audience thinking that this was my third nomination and what if I didn't win this year.  I was so nervous and excited all at the same time and I had no idea because I wasn't asked to perfrom this year and usually they ask the winners to perfrom.  That's probably too much of… Read more

March / April Music Update

Hey Everybody,

It's great to finally be able to sit down and update you on what's happening here, there and wherever. Things are hoppin' here and I'm getting more excited by the day. Opportunity just keeps knockin' and I'm so happy and even more THANKFUL for all the support.

March was crazy with everyone focused on preparing for the Las Vegas trip. What a great opportunity to open for Charlie Daniels - all I can say is that I have a lot of people that I am so thankful for - thanks so much for all your…Read more
