Tammie's Bio

Tammie Davis left her home in Lincolnton, NC for Parris Island, SC to serve her country. This North Carolina, gravel road, country girl became a United States Marine, Marine Pianist, Vocalist & Navy Achievement Medal Recipient.

In 2008, Tammie was introduced to her first studio session and since then has continued to build her career as a Country Music Artist and Songwriter.  Tammie has received awards from the Queen City Music Awards of Charlotte, NC, and has been named ‘Female Country Artist of the Year’ by the Carolina Music Award’s based in Raleigh, NC. Tammie’s first single 'Tall Dark & Lonesome' charted for thirteen solid weeks on Music Row following a National Radio Release in 2010. Tall Dark & Lonesome aired in heavy rotation on Media/Billboard stations Like WKML 95.7FM of Fayetteville, NC.  In 2011, Tammie turned heads with her second single 'It’s A Beautiful Life' which was released to over four-hundred digital distribution outlets, charted on Music Row, and aired on over 140 radio stations nationwide. Tammie’s songs have made it on the radio in sixteen countries and she has performed on RFD-TV’s Virginia Dreams Center Stage for three seasons.

Tammie is no stranger to live performances, she has opened shows for over twenty-five national acts including Charlie Daniels, Loretta Lynn, The Oak Ridge Boys, Gene Watson, T Graham Brown, Jeannie Seely, Juice Newton, Lady Antebellum, Jason Michael Carroll, Colt Ford, Jeff Bates, Pure Prairie League, Kip Moore, Bucky Covington, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Orleans, Ambrosia, Fire Fall, Matt Stillwell, Billy Dean and many more. She has performed the National Anthem over two-hundred times for various events including NASCAR, ARCA, Veterans organizations, and various other events.

Tammie has partnered with sponsors such as Bojangles’ Restaurants, Inc., and Ford in support of their Driving Skills For Life program.

 
Tammie's 3rd album "Songs For A Real Woman" was never released due to the passing of her long-time guitar player, John Nickels. The music from that album is available to listen to here on the website. The lead single "Read The Headlines" charted in the Top 100 on Music Row and received great reviews.
 
Currently, Tammie teaches piano and voice at her studio in Clemmons, NC, and makes herself available to Veteran's organizations for events for entertainment and the singing of the National Anthem.
