Tammie Davis Opens for Loretta Lynn

Greensboro, NC. – (May 10, 2013) Tammie Davis opened the show in Greensboro, NC at the War Memorial Auditorium for Loretta Lynn, the Queen of Country Music, on the evening of May 10, 2013. Tammie performed for around twenty minutes with her lead guitar player, John Nickels on acousitc guitar. Tammie sang both of her radio singles, "Tall Dark and Lonesome" and "It's A Beautiful Life" along with a few of her favorite traditional country songs including a tribute to the late George Jones with "The Race is On". After the show Tammie was honored to meet and speak to Loretta Lynn backstage and receive a photo op and short conversation in which Loretta said "I'm sorry I missed your performance, I will watch you next time." Later that evening, Tammie said "Meeting Loretta Lynn is truly the highest honor of my career."
