Oxyelite Pro My Results and Research

I've been taking OxyElite Pro for the last few weeks and have reached the following conclusion. Now, I know that these results won't be the same for everyone but I also did some research on the product as well and thought you might like to know what I found out.
The first thing I noticed about the product was the 'warning label'. If the product is safe, you usually do not see an extensive warning label like the following:
Warning: This product is only intended to be consumed by healthy adults 18 years of age or older. Pregnant or nursing women should not use this product. Consult with your health care provider before using this product, especially if you are taking any prescription, over the counter medication, dietary supplement product or if you have any pre-existing medical condition including but not limited to: high or low blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmia, stroke, heart, liver, kidney or thyroid disease, seizure disorder, psychiatric disease, diabetes, difficulty urinating due to prostate enlargement or if you are taking a MAO-B inhibitor or any other medication, including but not limited to MAOIs, SSRIs or any other compounds with serotonergic activity This product contains caffeine and should not be taken by individuals wishing to eliminate this ingredient from their diet. Discontinue use 2 weeks prior to surgery. Do not use in combination with caffeine or any stimulants from other sources whatsoever, including but not limited to, coffee, tea, soda and other dietary supplements or medications. Do not combine with alcohol. Discontinue use and immediately consult your health care professional if you experience any adverse reaction to this product. Do not exceed recommended serving. Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Now I also have to note that some products may be mostly safe and still have to have a label like the above on them just for 'regulation" purposes and I also have to note that I took the product and didn't experience anything unusual like headaches or anything that would cause me to stop taking the product. However, my husband took the product and because he does have some health issues had to stop taking the product because he didn't like the way it made him feel. So that proves that you shouldn't take the product if you are not completely healthy. That leads me to the next point. This product is not all natural and by-the-way does not claim to be on any part of the label or website. I'm just pointing that out for your information. On the front of the label it reads "Use with extreme caution". This product contains, just for one example, ingredients like "titanium dioxide color" which is believed by some researchers to cause lung cancer in rats when inhaled but anything that is dangerous by inhaling is also something that I don't want to ingest into my body either. There are other ingredients that I won't get into but there are others that are questioned by researchers.
I really feel that this product is probably not safe to take more than a few weeks. Also, I gained all of my weight back as soon as I stopped taking it. I would have had to go on a very strict diet in order to maintain plus added a daily exercise program to my schedule. I really can't participate in heavy exercise because of an injury I sustained in the military so that is out of the question for me unless I want to take more pain meds and they have side effects too. I've spoken to tons of folks that are in the same boat, they can't exercise due to a previous injury and need to loose weight so the search continues.
I'm looking for an all natural and healthy diet pill and think I've found one just this week. I'm starting it tomorrow and will report back to you on the results. For now, I've stopped taking the OxyElite Pro and can't recommend it to you with good mind and heart. I know that if you really want to loose weight you may turn to these types of diet pills but they are not safe for the long term based on my research. If you are completely healthy and want to take it for a few weeks you still might want to check with your doctor and read the warnings taking all precautions before you dive into taking questionable products.

Scamming Debt Collection Companies I.E. Capital Management

Just some helpful information for those of you getting scamming phone calls from a company by the name of Capital Management (877) 335-6861. I personally was getting phone calls and they wouldn&#8217;t give me any information about why they were calling. DO NOT GIVE these people your social security number. I&#8217;ve been receiving calls since January so I finally took the time to file a complaint with the FTC and then I called them and told them that I filed a complaint with the FTC. You know how fast it took him to take my phone number out of the system??? About 10 seconds. Here&#8217;s the link to the FTC website to file complaints on these type of companies. Remember, legitimate debt collection companies will send you something in the mail without you giving your information like your SSN over the phone. They supposedly already have your information so tell them to send it to you in the mail. If they don&#8217;t and they keep calling then file a complaint. Works like a charm because they know they are scamming people and don&#8217;t want to get caught.
Have a Great Day!

Get Started As A Singer Top Ten Things To Do

I get asked a lot &#8220;If I want to get started as a singer, what do I do?&#8221; So I&#8217;ve come up with the very basic first ten steps to take if you are looking to get started as a singer. These are very basic and do not guarantee your success as a Nationally known singer. I&#8217;m here to tell you that it&#8217;s WORK. I&#8217;m working harder now than I ever did at a corporate job or other job so just remember, before you get started make sure this is what you want to do. You can waste a lot of money on a singing career if you are not serious and in it for the long haul. Of course, once you have done these steps there is a whole other slue of steps to get you to the next level then the next then the next. It never stops even when you get to the top, it never stops. Once you get there you have to figure out how to stay there and maintain your income or retire and make the best off of the money you made so far as a successful singer. It&#8217;s a long hard road and good luck to you. I wish you all the best. I&#8217;ll post future blogs on what to do next, stay tuned.
Lots of Love,
Tammie

Decide upon your stage name. If your real name is not suiting for a stage name, have someone in the business help you come up with a good stage name.
Get a domain name that is your name.com. Or you can use YourNameMusic.com either one is affective.
Get your website Built or use Bandzoogle to help you start a good website. Start a Facebook an ReverbNation page as well.
Get Vocal Instruction from a professional instructor. All singers get vocal instruction, it has nothing to do with how good you are.
Go to a local studio and record some songs of you singing with karaoke tracks. This will help you find musicians for a band.
Hire band members with good personalities, that don't drink or want the gigs to be all about having a party. They must be able to get along with the other band members and be serious about your ventures as a professional singer.
Find a place to rehearse your band. Rehearse, Rehearse, Rehearse! If you have to, do a couple of gigs for free just to get references to get paying gigs.
Create a handout or "one-sheet" to give to venues where you want to play. You may have to record or video your band playing the songs and have those recordings or videos on your website in order to get booked.
Treat your band members well. If you are serious about singing, make sure your band gets paid at every gig whether or not you make any money.
Interact with the crowd, talk and shake hands, thank them for coming and put something in everyone's hand that comes to see you sing. Send them to your website and get them to join so you can stay in touch. Bands that sit in the band room or go outside to smoke and don't interact and take time with the crowd never make it passed the bar scene.

I&#8217;m not a dieting type of person but I did decide to try OxyElite Pro to see if it would work for me. I&#8217;m on the third day and have already lost a pound. I did read that protein is very important while on OxyElite so I&#8217;m going to intake more protein as part of my daily food intake. Now I have to say that I have only taken one pill per day for the last three days so if I had taken two, I may have lost more than a pound.
I&#8217;ll keep you updated on this so we&#8217;ll see how it goes with the progress.
Here&#8217;s a website I found with some info: <a href="http://www.oxyelite-pro.com/oxyelite-pro-side-effects">http://www.oxyelite-pro.com/oxyelite-pro-side-effects
Of course, consult your doctor if you are not a healthy adult before taking any product.

Top Ten Things to do this Spring and Summer

<a href="http://tammiedavis.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/flower-pic-tom.jpg">

<a href="http://tmphotography.zenfolio.com/">http://tmphotography.zenfolio.com/
Looking for something new to do this spring and summer? Here is my top ten list of things to do. I hope you find something on this list that interests you. Whatever you do this spring and summer have fun and please write back and tell me your stories.
1. Visit a Vineyard or take a wine tour
Vineyards are a great place to relax, meet friends and taste some great wine. Some even have live music so you can sit back and enjoy the day. Here are some of my favorite vineyards and wineries. You can even Google search "wine tours" and there are companies that organize the tour so all you have to do is sign up and pay your tour fee and then the entire day is planned for you. Sounds like fun to me.
Some of my favorites:

2. Yard Sale Hop
Yard sales can be so much fun and you never know what you might find. They can also be great for networking with others. The key is to plan your day and map your route so you hit as many as you can from 6am until around 11am. Yard sales are usually over by 11an but some will run late. The best items are usually found early so get an early start; grab a Bojangles' biscuit (if you have a Bojangles' in your area) and head on your way. Here's a neat website I found to find and also list yard sales. Also, check your local newspaper; there are usually a lot of listings starting this time of year. Have fun!
<a href="http://www.yardsalesearch.com/">http://www.yardsalesearch.com/
3. Plant flowers
Planting flowers is sometimes therapeutic or you may just really enjoy working with flowers. I know I do and wish I could do more of it. I found some really great videos on planting flowers. Now get out in the sunshine and have some fun making your yard great looking and your neighbors jealous.

4. Take your kids on a picnic
Most kids have never been on a picnic. Some of the best memories I have as a child is going to the Smoky Mountains with my parents and having a picnic on a picnic table along the side of the winding road. They'll think it's boring at first but trust me, they will remember it and talk about it for a long time and may even ask to go back with you. Kids enjoy their time with their parents, they'll just never admit to it. Let them talk to you without interruptions, they'll feel important.

5. Go somewhere you've never been
It doesn't have to be an extravagant trip or even expensive. Most people have never been to a number of places within a hundred mile radius of their home. Do research on your area and see what you are missing. Sometimes you don't have to go far to see something new.
If you want to travel, Google search your destination or visit some of these websites:

6. Teach an elderly person to use the internet.
Teaching someone to use a computer and the internet can be very rewarding. If you know an older person that just got a computer and the internet, take time to teach them what you know. Here are some helpful internet teaching articles listed below:

7. Find New Music &#8211; Order a CD by an Independent Artist
Support your local and independent Artists/Singers/Songwriters. Yes, I'm one and this is added to the list to help support artists just like me who are out there trying to make a living giving part of themselves to the public. Music is a much needed part of our lives. We work to it, drive to it, eat with it in the background, dance to it, take a shower to it and just have it around all the time. Songs help us remember parts of our life and bring back memories.
I could write a whole column on 'Independent Artists' and the 'Music Industry' but that will have to be a later post. The important thing to know is that local and Independent Artists need your support. They don't have the radio to get their music out, they (we) need people talking about it, passing it to their friends, talking about it on social networks and sharing it with whoever will listen. Reverb Nation is a great place to find independent artists and new music that you've never heard. Make a point to find some close to you. Buy their CD and attend their shows &#8211; it's a great way to meet new people and discover something new. I couldn't list everyone, sorry, but here are a few of my favorite Independent Artists in the country world in no particular order:
<a href="http://www.courtneydickinson.com/">http://www.courtneydickinson.com/

8. Get a new hair-do
Hairstyles constantly change and if you are like me, I really don't care what the style is I care what my style is, but there is a time that you just need a change. Sometimes change can give us new ideas and even make our world seem a little brighter. It also brings attention to you which you may welcome. Checkout the new 2012 hairstyles and maybe there's one that trips your trigger. I might even take a gander.
<a href="http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/trends/2012.html">http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/trends/2012.html

9. Start a new hobby
Maybe it's a new hobby that you need to make your day brighter. You can even involve your kids and make it a family project or hobby. Whatever the hobby, make it fun and lasting. You never know, it could turn into your next occupation.
<a href="http://www.discoverahobby.com/">http://www.discoverahobby.com/
<a href="http://www.findmeahobby.com/">http://www.findmeahobby.com/
10. Start a group or circle of people that like to do the same things and pre-plan 4-5 weekend outings or evenings out.
Sometimes people just want to socialize with other people that are similar to them but never can get together on schedules because everything is done last minute. Here's an idea for those of you that like to plan things. Make a list of 4-6 people or couples that like to do the same things and plan 4-5 weekend outings or evenings to go and do these activities together. Have a small get-together at you house so everyone can have input on what the activities will be, let everyone get in on the creative process. Of course you'll have to have a leader that gets all the facts, collects the money, makes the reservations, etc. If 4-5 outings are too much, cut back to what's good for the group. Have Fun!!
Examples:

Couples who like to wine taste, golf, go ballroom dancing, hear live music, etc.
Single girls who like the beach, line dancing, pottery, art, live music, etc.
Older couples, who like to site-see, try new restaurants; go to church group outings, pot luck dinners, bingo, etc.
Single guys never have a problem getting together so enough said...

I hope these &#8220;Top 10 Things to do this Spring and Summer&#8221; give you some ideas of your own or make finding something to do a little easier. Have fun and stay safe at whatever you decide to do this year.

2. Yard Sale Hop

Yard sales can be so much fun and you never know what you might find. They can also be great for networking with others. The key is to plan your day and map your route so you hit as many as you can from 6am until around 11am. Yard sales are usually over by 11an but some will run late. The best items are usually found early so get an early start; grab a Bojangles? biscuit (if you have a Bojangles? in your area) and head on your way. Here?s a neat website I found to find and also list yard sales. Also, check your local newspaper; there are usually a lot of listings starting this time of year. Have fun!

http://www.yardsalesearch.com/

They?ll think it?s boring at first but trust me, they will remember it and talk about it for a long time and may even ask to go back with you. Kids enjoy their time with their parents, they?ll just never admit to it. Let them talk to you without interruptions, they?ll feel important.

5. Go somewhere you?ve never been

It doesn?t have to be an extravagant trip or even expensive. Most people have never been to a number of places within a hundred mile radius of their home. Do research on your area and see what you are missing. Sometimes you don?t have to go far to see something new.

If you want to travel, Google search your destination or visit some of these websites:

6. Teach an elderly person to use the internet.

Teaching someone to use a computer and the internet can be very rewarding. If you know an older person that just got a computer and the internet, take time to teach them what you know. Here are some helpful internet teaching articles listed below:

http://able2know.org/topic/69522-1

http://www.ehow.com/how_4576286_teach-older-people-use-internet.html

7. Find New Music – Order a CD by an Independent Artist

Support your local and independent Artists/Singers/Songwriters. Yes, I?m one and this is added to the list to help support artists just like me who are out there trying to make a living giving part of themselves to the public. Music is a much needed part of our lives. We work to it, drive to it, eat with it in the background, dance to it, take a shower to it and just have it around all the time. Songs help us remember parts of our life and bring back memories.

I could write a whole column on ?Independent Artists? and the ?Music Industry? but that will have to be a later post. The important thing to know is that local and Independent Artists need your support. They don?t have the radio to get their music out, they (we) need people talking about it, passing it to their friends, talking about it on social networks and sharing it with whoever will listen. Reverb Nation is a great place to find independent artists and new music that you?ve never heard. Make a point to find some close to you. Buy their CD and attend their shows – it?s a great way to meet new people and discover something new. I couldn?t list everyone, sorry, but here are a few of my favorite Independent Artists in the country world in no particular order:

http://www.courtneydickinson.com/

http://vickieraye.com/

http://www.cicijansen.com/

http://www.lacygreen.com/

Find more new music at Reverb Nation: http://www.reverbnation.com

8. Get a new hair-do

Hairstyles constantly change and if you are like me, I really don?t care what the style is I care what my style is, but there is a time that you just need a change. Sometimes change can give us new ideas and even make our world seem a little brighter. It also brings attention to you which you may welcome. Checkout the new 2012 hairstyles and maybe there?s one that trips your trigger. I might even take a gander.

http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/trends/2012.html

http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/

9. Start a new hobby

Maybe it?s a new hobby that you need to make your day brighter. You can even involve your kids and make it a family project or hobby. Whatever the hobby, make it fun and lasting. You never know, it could turn into your next occupation.

http://www.discoverahobby.com/

http://www.findmeahobby.com/

10. Start a group or circle of people that like to do the same things and pre-plan 4-5 weekend outings or evenings out.

Sometimes people just want to socialize with other people that are similar to them but never can get together on schedules because everything is done last minute. Here?s an idea for those of you that like to plan things. Make a list of 4-6 people or couples that like to do the same things and plan 4-5 weekend outings or evenings to go and do these activities together. Have a small get-together at you house so everyone can have input on what the activities will be, let everyone get in on the creative process. Of course you?ll have to have a leader that gets all the facts, collects the money, makes the reservations, etc. If 4-5 outings are too much, cut back to what?s good for the group. Have Fun!!

Single guys never have a problem getting together so enough said?

I hope these “Top 10 Things to do this Spring and Summer” give you some ideas of your own or make finding something to do a little easier. Have fun and stay safe at whatever you decide to do this year.

One Click of the Mouse Can Change Your Entire Life

On Friday, February 10th 2006 I clicked my mouse and my entire life changed. I never thought that one click would change so much but it did. You see I grew up thinking I was supposed to sing for a living and the whole time was always doing something else. I joined the Marine Corps out of High School and became a Marine, then became a Marine Musician. I even sang while I was enlisted in the Corps but something inside me kept telling me I was supposed to do something bigger. That click was me joining an internet dating site and meeting my now husband who encouraged me to sing after hearing me while we were on a date at a 'going away' party for one of his work associates. My life is so different now, the changes really started a little over a year after we met when I started my first band.
You don't think that one small thing can change your entire life, well think again. The accomplishments I have had and the blessings I have received over the last few years have been enormous. If not for that click, I would still be doing the same job, sitting at the same desk, working with mostly the same people (who I love too BTW). But, I would not be living the life that best suits me and my personality and dreams. Are you living the live that best suits you? If not, make some changes. The changes are hard, I mean real hard but if you are doing what makes you complete then no matter the hardship, you'll make others happy around you because you will be happy. Just remember, no matter what your occupation in life (dream or not) you'll always have some hardships, why not live through the hardships doing what makes you complete?

Wow, this year is getting off to a crazy start. &nbsp;It's all good and I'm so blessed to have you here with me. &nbsp;Announcement coming soon regarding a sponsor for 2012 which we are very excited about. &nbsp;There are lots of opportunities being pushed my way so far this year but ya'll please keep me in your prayers because I need strength to make the right decisions moving forward. &nbsp;The show at Ziggy's is coming up on March 2nd and that's going to be a great night then I'm right back there the next night for the Memorial of Noel Livengood on March 3rd. &nbsp;We are working on the single and I'll have some updates for you real soon about the song release, etc. &nbsp;I'll be in Nashville next week on business, probably a quick trip so I may not have time to visit but I'll certainly try for all my Nashville friends and associates.&nbsp;

Last weekend was so much fun at Daytona with <a href="http://www.venturinimotorsports.com/">Venturini Motorsports. &nbsp;if you haven't seen my &quot;Tammie Talk&quot; Episodes, you can click on &quot;<a href="./tammietalk.cfm">Tammie Talk&quot; on this site or go to my YouTube channel by going to the &quot;<a href="./contact.cfm">contact&quot; page here on the webiste as well. Episode #3 was shot at Venturini Motorsports in Concord, NC. You can tell your friends how to view simply by saying &quot;Go to www.TammieTalk.com&quot; which is up and running now. &nbsp;More new music coming this year so please tell your friends to <a href="./membersignup.cfm">sign up for the newsletter and of course they will be the first to receive the news about the new album, song releases, radio tours, new merchandise, etc. &nbsp;It's an awesome time and it's a lot of work but I'm loving every day of it. &nbsp;I also have to say that I loved making cupcakes with my daughter last night, so much fun...&nbsp;that girl. &nbsp;You can see the finished product in the picture.

Lots of love you to and yours, Tammie &nbsp;
(P.S. These were Oreo Cupcakes by-the-way - very good from what I hear her history class had to say.)

Staying on Track with your New Year's Resolutions

Staying on Track with your New Year's Resolutions

1.	Set realistic goals. Oftentimes, people set themselves up for failure by resolving to accomplish impossible tasks. Losing weight is a popular New Year&rsquo;s resolution, but a goal of losing, say, 20 pounds in a month guarantees disappointment. Instead, outline realistic goals and how to get there.

2.	Prepare, prepare, prepare. Whoever said that you had to go cold turkey? Take baby steps to reach your goals. Realize that achieving any goal takes planning and preparation. It also takes time.

3.	Expect some setbacks. Change is tough. And you&rsquo;re probably going to experience some setbacks as you are making modifications in your life. But the important thing is to not fall into the &ldquo;all or nothing&rdquo; trap. A step back doesn&rsquo;t mean you&rsquo;ll never go forward again. Many people find themselves in the trap of &ldquo;all or nothing&rdquo; thinking and give up. But instead of beating yourself up for &ldquo;failing,&rdquo; get back on that exercise regimen. You&rsquo;ll feel much better for it.

4.	Find someone to share the experience. Support makes all the difference. If you plan to stop smoking, find a buddy who will quit with you and begin planning strategies. A buddy will also serve to keep you on track toward your goals.

5.	Don&rsquo;t compare yourself with others. While finding a buddy to share your progress is helpful, don&rsquo;t let someone else&rsquo;s progress get you down. Comparing yourself to others is a very self-defeating behavior. Your only competition is yourself.

6.	Don&rsquo;t over scrutinize your progress. Evaluating your progress every day often ends in frustration. Don&rsquo;t do it! Progress updates every week or every two weeks are better since enough time will have lapsed for even small changes to be evident. And resist the urge to compare yourself with others; it&rsquo;s ultimately self-defeating.

7.	Don&rsquo;t be afraid to reward yourself. Don&rsquo;t be afraid to give yourself a pat on the back when you make progress. Schedule rewards during the process. But be sure to plan rewards after you&rsquo;ve taken a step toward reaching your goal. For instance, exercise first and go to the movie second, not vice versa.

8.	Seek professional help. Many people try for years to change their bad habits, without success. There is no shame in asking the advice of a medical professional or other support staff. Just think of it as doing something a little different this year to help you reach your goals.

Looking Back on 2011

Looking back on 2011, it's been a pretty awesome year for me. &nbsp;I have no complaints at all. &nbsp;I knew this road was going to be long and hard and don't get me wrong, it is but I have to say that I've been extremely blessed and I'm motivated more than ever and willing to work even harder if that's what it takes.

Where I'm headed exactly is up to fate but I know where I've been and the lessons I've learned especially in the last few years have been priceless. &nbsp;I've been lucky in that I've had some really good people over beside me telling me what to do and giving me some great advice but some don't have that so I'm very blessed in that manner.

Well, let's see, the highlight of the year had to be singing on stage with Charlie Daniels and his band in Las Vegas. &nbsp;I would have never in a million years dreamed that I would do that - I've always been a huge Charlie Daniels fan but didn't see that one coming right down to sitting on the side of the stage and watching Charlie tell his stage manager something then watching him walk over to me....it was all in slow motion and very cool to remember it happening.

My favorite movie of the year has to be &quot;Burlesque&quot; which I know is a 2010 film but I just saw it this past year for the first time. &nbsp;When I need some extra motivation, I just watch that movie and eat my favorite foods. &nbsp;

My favorite miracle of the year is that my keyboard player, Tim Sidden, is still with us here on earth after his near death experience on the operating table this past year. &nbsp;He is such a great mentor of mine and close friend too, I couldn't have handled losing him this year or any year for that matter. &nbsp;

My favorite magazine of the year has to be, of course, K*Chele Magazine, one because I was on the cover and two because I think you'll see that magazine do wonders in 2012 - did I say wonders? It could be rather revealing...so you might wanna stay in touch with her on Facebook. &nbsp;

My favorite song of the year is &quot;Home Boy&quot; simply because it rings true for someone I know who needs to get his heart right.

My favorite National Anthem of the year has to be the one I sang at Kansas Speedway. &nbsp;What an awesome sound system they have and for a singer, singing through a system like that creates a feeling that is not of this world.

Some of my 'First Times' this year were: being the co-host of a radio show (Nightride), singing the National Anthem at an Nascar ARCA Race (Kansas Speedway), Singing the National Anthem for over 46,500 people at one time (Kansas Speedway), performing in Las Vegas, being on stage with a country legend (Charlie Daniels), winning the Carolina Music Awards (Female Country Artist of the Year), being in a celebrity basketball game (Bowman Gray Celebrity Tournament), being on a Bojanlges trayliner (52 Locations throughout NC for four weeks), and performing at the hottest charity event of the year (July 30th Make-A-Wish over 100 degrees).

So many people to thank, the best husband in the world - Mike Jones, my awesome daughter who puts up with my crazy schedule - some call her &quot;The Onion&quot;, Rocky the awesome driver and friend, Bojangles' Restaurants, Inc. and Hugh Quinn of the Advance, NC Store, John Nickels my awesome guitar player, Phil Martin, Tim Sidden, Jimmy Church, Rickie Church, Corky McClellan, Brian Stone, Todd Castevens, Sarah Anderson, Gene &quot;The Breeze&quot;, Kim Durham, K*Chele Magazine, Bobby Plowman, Uncle Bob's Foods, LLC, LaVida Massage of Clemmons, Modern Toyota, Toyota Rent-a-Car, Island Tans of Winston-Salem, Avesta &amp; Bobby Everhart who are at every show along with my child's other mother, Sanudra Eason and her husband Phil Eason who comes to every show with something smart a-- to say to me..lol jk, love ya Phil, Tom McCulloh Photography, Kristi Darr Photography, Thomas Lynch, The Bo Time Thursday morning crew, Cheryle Parrish, Joyce Welch, Clifton Lambreth, Jan Fowler, Rick Famrer, Brent Naylor, Evelyn Huffman, Jeff &amp; Lisa Cranfill, Tim McIntosh, Bowers Entertainment, Deros Wallpaper of Clemmons, Make-A-Wish of the Triad and Western North Carolina, Don Timmons, Anna Howell, Ellen Richardson, Nate McGee, Michael Wells Jr, Danny McIntosh, Randy Stubbs, John Meadows, Gil Cunningham, Ben Harris, Bruce Watkins, Jeff Haste, Debbie &amp; Bobby Locke, WKML Radio of Fayetteville, NC, Deano, Aunt Elouise, Cousin Andy, Derrick Davis, Doug Davis, Pat Reese, and I'm sure I've left someone out and I'm so sorry but I tried to remember everyone. &nbsp;Love you all so much and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Happy New Year!! I'm excited for what's in store and thankful for the relationships created this past year.

My Uncle Bob's Experience

Well I&rsquo;ve been waiting sometime now to be able to tell this story so here it is&hellip;.
A few months back, I received a FB message from Bobby Plowman, owner of Uncle Bob&rsquo;s Foods, LLC about him being interested in a sponsorship agreement with me. Bobby had heard my song &quot;Tall Dark and Lonesome&quot; on the Radio (<a href="http://wkml.com/">WKML 95.7 Fayetteville, NC), that's what made him contact me. I took his email like most of the emails I get, with a grain of salt, and emailed him back and told him when I was available to meet him. &nbsp;One thing I've learned in the music business is to NEVER blow someone off, it doesn't matter who they are or if you think they are crazy or not. Come to find out that Bobby was serious and as things worked out and the deal was made, I am now partnered with Uncle Bob&rsquo;s Foods, LLC under a sponsorship/co-marketing agreement&hellip;.but aLOT happened to make that actually work out.&nbsp; For one, I personally can not promote ANYTHING that I don&rsquo;t like so when Bobby and I met for the first time, he gave me some &lsquo;grillin &amp; dippin&rdquo; sauce to take home and try.&nbsp; I then also handed it out to my friends, other sponsors, fans at the shows, family, etc. and told them to get back to me on if they liked it.&nbsp; I&rsquo;ve never been a BBQ lover.&nbsp; I don&rsquo;t know why, I&rsquo;ve just never was in love with BBQ.&nbsp; In the past, I would eat BBQ and even cook it from time-to-time but never really liked it that much - I&rsquo;d rather eat a hotdog than have a BBQ sandwich or plate.&nbsp;
When Bobby gave me the sauce, we had a few cases of it here at the house so I was able to cook with it on several different types of meat.&nbsp; From the very first taste I was hooked.&nbsp; I immediately threw out all the BBQ sauce in my fridge because now there is no other kind of sauce in my book.&nbsp; I became a huge fan of Uncle Bob&rsquo;s and my family loves it too. Everyone that I&rsquo;ve given the sauce to for testing, LOVE it.&nbsp; I now plan meals using Uncle Bob&rsquo;s Grillin &amp; Dippin&rsquo; Sauce and I&rsquo;ve never planned meals around a specific product before.&nbsp; We use it on Chicken, Beef, Pork and Seafood.&nbsp; It&rsquo;s great a tons of stuff.&nbsp; I&rsquo;ll let you know when the recipes are posted to the website.&nbsp; All the locations are posted to the <a href="http://unclebobssauce.com/Location_s_.html">Uncle Bob&rsquo;s Website to let you know where you can purchase Uncle Bob&rsquo;s.&nbsp; Right now, it&rsquo;s not available nationally but with a taste like this, it won&rsquo;t be long. &nbsp;To see some comsumer reviews click <a href="http://unclebobssauce.com/Reviews.html">here. &nbsp;

A few months back, I received a FB message from Bobby Plowman, owner of Uncle Bob’s Foods, LLC about him being interested in a sponsorship agreement with me. Bobby had heard my song "Tall Dark and Lonesome" on the Radio (WKML 95.7 Fayetteville, NC), that's what made him contact me. I took his email like most of the emails I get, with a grain of salt, and emailed him back and told him when I was available to meet him. One thing I've learned in the music business is to NEVER blow someone off, it doesn't matter who they are or if you think they are crazy or not.
It Breaks My Heart

&nbsp;I get really sad when I read about missing babies or abused children.&nbsp; It breaks my heart to think that people can actually do these types of things.&nbsp; What&rsquo;s wrong with people?&nbsp; Are they missing part of their brain &ndash; the part that tells you to protect the innocent?&nbsp; Sorry, but that should be a natural feeling and way of living.&nbsp; I was looking at some pictures on <a href="http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150318320002303&amp;set=o.114692447908&amp;type=1&amp;theater">Kenny Chesney&rsquo;s No Shoes Radio Face book page and saw a picture of a little girl who is missing in Kansas City.&nbsp; That sparked my interest because I was just there little more than a month ago singing the anthem at the speedway so I looked her up.&nbsp; Her name is <a href="http://www.lisa-irwin.com/">Lisa Irwin, little bitty girl &ndash; I&rsquo;m talkin&rsquo; she just turned 10 months old when she went missing in October of this year. After reading some of the articles about the case I get a strange feeling that the family is not telling the police everything.&nbsp; It&rsquo;s so sad but in a lot of these kinds of cases, the family or parents aren&rsquo;t taking good care of the kids so the police start looking at the family for answers.&nbsp; As I was researching little Lisa, I ran across a little boy named <a href="http://humbleopinionforum.net/2011/11/16/tyler-dasher-update-mother-said-she-beat-him/">Tyler Dasher who&rsquo;s mother beat him to dead at the age of one year.&nbsp; She has confessed to the police that she became angry and beat her son because he wouldn&rsquo;t stop crying. How sad that is that not only is her son dead by her own hand, she has to live with that for the rest of her life.&nbsp; I remember back when my baby was a baby and how I would watch her sleep.&nbsp; I would have stayed up all night if that meant her feeling safe and comfortable.&nbsp; I can&rsquo;t imagine any parent being any different with their children.&nbsp; It breaks my heart to know different.

Love your children and have a great day!

Press Forward With Your Plan - Personal Goal Setting

I had somebody ask me today what I had in the plans for 2012 and what was coming up that was big news.&nbsp; I have to say that <a href="http://www.mindtools.com/page6.html">I always have things in the plans.&nbsp; The plan might change several times but eventually something will pop out of the bag.&nbsp; Someone told me recently that you need to have ten irons in the fire before something will get hot and I truly believe that.&nbsp; I&rsquo;ve also learned that over the last three and a half years of being in the music industry to not &lsquo;tell all&rsquo;.&nbsp; Sometimes it&rsquo;s hard not to burst out and tell everybody what you are working on but I&rsquo;ve also learned to make sure you have your &ldquo;T&rsquo;s&rdquo; crossed and your &ldquo;I&rsquo;s&rdquo; dotted before you go running your mouth because nine out of ten times, you&rsquo;ll have to retract what you said and give some sort of explanation as to why something didn&rsquo;t happen.&nbsp; Fact is &ndash; &ldquo;that&rsquo;s the music business&rdquo; and it always happens and it happens to everybody.&nbsp; It&rsquo;s how you handle it that is what matters.
I also had someone give me some great ideas today and I think I&rsquo;ll give some thought to them.&nbsp; That&rsquo;s so cool because if you listen to other people talk, you can get some of the coolest ideas and they don&rsquo;t even know that they are giving them to you.&nbsp; <a href="http://lctodd1947.hubpages.com/hub/Quick-to-Listen">Stop listening to yourself talk and listen to others.&nbsp; Are you ever in a conversation with someone and you can tell that they aren&rsquo;t hearing a word you are saying?&nbsp; That&rsquo;s sort of rude on their behalf but that&rsquo;s how a lot of people are and they don&rsquo;t even know they are doing it.&nbsp; With in the last four or five days I&rsquo;ve had people say things to me and I had this &ldquo;OMG&rdquo; moment right then &ndash; Why didn&rsquo;t I think of that before?&nbsp;
The other thing is actually acting on your idea even if you think you don&rsquo;t have the means to pull it off.&nbsp; &ldquo;The way&rdquo; will come if you just pursue it.&nbsp; Most folks don&rsquo;t believe that because they grew up with their folks telling them that &ldquo;that&rsquo;s not possible&rdquo; or &ldquo;you better be made of money if you plan on doing that&rdquo; or something to that nature.&nbsp; You may have had a parent or someone in your life growing up that told you those things.&nbsp; Well I&rsquo;m here to tell you &ldquo;That&rsquo;s Bullshit!!&rdquo; &nbsp;(Excuse the French) but it most certainly is a load of crap and - Did their folks tell them the same thing?&nbsp; My lord, why didn&rsquo;t somebody tell them differently?&nbsp; Thank God somebody came along in my life about four years ago that informed me that &ldquo;It doesn&rsquo;t work that way&rdquo;.&nbsp;&nbsp; Now I can actually do something with my life and talents without having this thing hanging over my head telling me that &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t&rdquo;.

Life can be hard but live and love like today is your last.

&nbsp;I remember in January of 2008 when I lost my Dad how I felt so empty inside.&nbsp; It was like somebody had carved me out like a pumpkin and I just couldn&rsquo;t fill it back up.&nbsp; I&rsquo;ve been seeing a lot of loss recently.&nbsp; I know how hard it is when you lose someone close to you and I also know that it can eat away at you and that&rsquo;s all you think about for a really long time.&nbsp; I cried myself to sleep for the first six months after my father&rsquo;s passing.&nbsp; I just wanted to see him one more time standing in the garage &lsquo;waving bye&rsquo; to us as we left the house to come back to Winston after a visit.&nbsp; I used to make him promise that he would come back and visit me but no &lsquo;confirmed&rsquo; visits yet, I&rsquo;ll let you know if that happens but then you&rsquo;ll&nbsp; think that I&rsquo;ve lost my mind.&nbsp; We did have some unexplainable things happen right after Dad&rsquo;s passing but we can&rsquo;t say if it was actually him or not.&nbsp; I think that those that pass before us can actually see us.&nbsp; I guess that's one of the reasons why I try and live a decent life.&nbsp; My Dad&rsquo;s spirit is actually watching me now, or that&rsquo;s what I think, so I can&rsquo;t be out there doing things that he would not approve of&hellip;lol.&nbsp; I have had some experiences where somebody came out of nowhere and helped me when I was having a rough time or in a troubling situation so I&rsquo;m a believer that our loved ones are out there making sure we are taken care of.&nbsp; If you&rsquo;ve lost someone close to you and you are still having a hard time with the loss whether it just recently happened or maybe it&rsquo;s been a while, just think how you would want that person to live if you had passed before them.&nbsp; I know I wouldn&rsquo;t want my loved ones to miss out on life by mourning me for too long.&nbsp; I would want them to live life and each day as if it were their last &ndash; then they can come see me.&nbsp; Hey, your life ain&rsquo;t over&nbsp; - someday it will be but today is only chance you will have to experience today, tomorrow is another day and another experience.

Kansas Speedway Oct 7 ARCA Race

I hate early mornings but this one was so worth getting up at 3:30am.&nbsp; Friday, Oct 7th, Rocky picked me up at 5am so I could catch a flight to Kansas City from Charlotte.&nbsp; I slept the first leg into Chicago then caught a flight into Kansas City and got there around 11:30am.&nbsp; The car service picked me up at the airport and BTW, awesome car service if you are ever in Kansas City and need one, call my friend, Ben at Ben's Transportation Service at 816-507-2821.&nbsp; Not that expensive and fabulous car and service.&nbsp; Taxis tend to drive you around in circles to get more money so you&rsquo;re better off getting a car service to pick you up and take you from place to place. Ok, back to the weekend&hellip;.Ben was great and took me to the hotel.&nbsp; I was able to relax for a few hours, eat and get ready to go sing the Anthem.&nbsp;&nbsp; I was greeted at the speedway by Tom Venturini of <a href="http://www.venturinimotorsports.com/">Venturini Motorsports and the rest was absolute history.&nbsp; I sang the National Anthem for my largest crowd ever, 46,500 race fans.&nbsp; The anthem wasn&rsquo;t televised (there was a 50/50 chance) but singing for that many people was absolutely awesome.&nbsp; It was ARCAs first night race and a very successful one at that.&nbsp; As I walked up on the stage to sing, I wasn&rsquo;t nervous.&nbsp; Usually I am nervous at these type events but as the Pastor was giving the prayer, I felt my heart start to beat really hard as if it wanted to jump out of my chest.&nbsp; I took a few deep breaths to calm myself then I saw the &ldquo;queue&rdquo; from the lady at the foot of the stage telling me to sing.&nbsp; I don&rsquo;t think I&rsquo;ve ever sang the anthem with that much feeling and emotion before.&nbsp; The sound soared through the speedway stadium.&nbsp; I&rsquo;ve never been more excited singing at an event than I was that very moment at the ending phrases of the anthem my heart was filled with honor and joy.&nbsp; I came down from the stage and was greeted by some awesome folks and some picture taking.&nbsp; I went back to the trailer briefly then back to pit road where I found Tom once again.&nbsp; He got me a seat on the pit box of the #55 car driven by Alex Bowman.&nbsp; I had never sat on a pit box before which was pretty exciting.&nbsp; I was able to listen in on the driver&rsquo;s conversations with the crew chief which made it even more exciting.&nbsp; The 55 car wasn&rsquo;t doing so hot but the crew chief&rsquo;s strategy was about to pay off. &nbsp;&nbsp;Alex came in during a caution late in the race and they hooked him up with four tires which allowed him to drive to his second victory, which is a huge deal since he&rsquo;s only had two races in the ARCA series and he also won his first race!&nbsp; What an accomplishment to have won both races as a starter.&nbsp; Plus I was sitting on the pit box of the winning car!! Very exciting for everyone! I&rsquo;m grateful to the Venturini Family who treated me so awesome and gave me the opportunity to be apart of such a great event. Check out the <a href="http://www.arcaracing.com/news.php?contentid=11613">press release about Alex&rsquo;s win at Kansas City.&nbsp; Thank you to <a href="http://www.arcaracing.com/">ARCA.com for the <a href="http://www.wibw.com/sports/headlines/Kansas_Speedway_Announces_National_Anthem_Performers_130451803.html?ref=803">press release about me prior to the race and much gratitude to everyone involved in me being there.&nbsp; Read my <a href="http://www.facebook.com/notes/tammie-davis/awesome-landing-in-dallas-on-saturday-evening-american-flight-1402/10150865864250007">note about the flight back on my Facebook page by clicking <a href="http://www.facebook.com/notes/tammie-davis/awesome-landing-in-dallas-on-saturday-evening-american-flight-1402/10150865864250007">here, another heart pounding event.&nbsp; Thanks to all my fans and friends here at home that were hoping to see me on TV singing the Anthem.&nbsp; No worries, you&rsquo;ll get to see it because we&rsquo;ve just got started.
Lots of Love,
Tammie

What's New and Who to Thank?

I know I haven&rsquo;t posted in a week or so. I&rsquo;m so sorry. I will try and do better, lol. It&rsquo;s been a mind blowing week. I am pulled in a lot of different directions&nbsp;- it&rsquo;s all very good stuff so I can&rsquo;t complain AT ALL. I&rsquo;m having the time of my life even though it&rsquo;s a struggle sometimes. But think about it, life is usually filled with struggles anyway. Why not do what makes you happy and work through the struggles to get to where you want to be? Just say&rsquo; in. I wish I could tell you everything that&rsquo;s happening right this minute but I can&rsquo;t pour the beans until I have a pot to catch them. I can tell you that we have a <a href="./pressreleases.cfm">press release coming out this week that&rsquo;s pretty exciting regarding my corporate sponsor <a href="http://www.bojangles.com/">Bojangles&rsquo; Restaurants, Inc., that I can say. If you are connected to me on FB, you&rsquo;ll see the link when it is posted and on the website. They are wonderful to work with and I can&rsquo;t say enough good things about them as a company and a sponsor. Thanks also to the local store in Advance, NC and the manager, Hugh Quinn. He has been heaven sent and super supportive from the start. What an awesome person and I&rsquo;m so proud to know and work with him on a regular basis. There are so many caring individuals who either work at or own businesses in this area. I&rsquo;ve had to privilege to meet some of them. Like Vickie at <a href="http://treasuresdecorconsignments.com/">Treasures D&eacute;cor in Clemmons. She and her husband didn&rsquo;t hesitate when&nbsp;they had a chance to support <a href="http://www.cookoutforwishes.org/">Make-A-Wish by sponsoring the MAW concert which helped raise almost 10K for Wish Kids in western North Carolina and Barry at Davie Jewelers in Clemmons, Kristina Lowery at Prime Builders in Advance, Kale at <a href="http://iscclemmons.com/isc/index.htm">Interstate Service Center in Clemmons and the Associate Sponsor of the event, <a href="http://www.moderntoyota.calls.net/">Modern Toyota of Winston-Salem and of course my corporate sponsor, <a href="http://www.bojangles.com/">Bojangles was there with their awesome sweet tea served up by non other than Hugh Quinn and his daughter who came to help&ndash; thank God because it was hotter than&nbsp;hotdogs on the 4th of July&nbsp;that day. I have done business with all of these folks and they not only run great businesses and have great products and services plus they care about the people around them. That makes me want to do more business with them time after time. This is what makes the world go round, people giving back to people and I&rsquo;m all about that. So now, cross your fingers and hopefully you&rsquo;ll be reading some pretty exciting stuff on&nbsp;this blog about Tammie Davis&nbsp;Music&nbsp;over the next few months and beyond. Buckle up!! Love you all and hope to see you soon.&nbsp; Oh yeah, you can pick up Free Comp tickets for the September 9th &amp; 10th Rockingham ADRL Drag Race at the Advance, NC Bojangles Location, compliments of Todd and Denise Tutterow!!&nbsp;(<a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Todd-Tutterow/317391440349">Todd&nbsp;is the 2009 ADRL World Champion)&nbsp;Thank you!

Tammie

P.S.&nbsp; Here's a picture of Todd's car that he will have at Rockingham on Sept 9th and 10th.

It's Crazy But Worth It !!

What a crazy last couple days. I can&rsquo;t wait to write a book, I&rsquo;m serious. I can&rsquo;t wait to put all of this down on paper. I&rsquo;m going to have so much fun remembering, if that&rsquo;s possible, all of the things that has gotten me from point A to point B to Point C and so on. It&rsquo;s been a crazy ride so far but I think I get some thrill out of it. In the beginning, when that crazy Mike Jones said the magic words to me and got me motivated about a singing career, people looked at both of us like we were crazy when we said we wanted to go &ldquo;all the way&rdquo;, now &ldquo;all the way&rdquo; doesn&rsquo;t seem that far away anymore. We&rsquo;ve still got a long road ahead but for what we&rsquo;ve been through so far, I&rsquo;m stupid ready for whatever is ahead. We&rsquo;ve given up a lot, I mean given up &lsquo;stuff'. For example, before the singing career we took four vacations a year, now we&rsquo;re lucky if we get one and went two solid years without a vacation at all and that&rsquo;s just an example. I could go on but then you wouldn&rsquo;t order the book now would you? And not just a book about my story, a book about <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Best-Music-Industry-Books-according/lm/R3QGPZ1X0HNQNL">the music industry which I think would sell a million. The things we&rsquo;ve learned &ndash; it&rsquo;s crazy. You have to know what to do, what not to do, how to smell red flags a mile away, what to sign, what not to sign and basic rules on when to kick someone&rsquo;s &ldquo;behind&rdquo; and when to shut-up and leave it along&hellip;.lol just kidding about the backside kicking. But really, there are rules to the music industry just like any other industry. Learning the ropes is part of the business. Anyway, back to my original statement &ldquo;crazy last couple days&rdquo;. It&rsquo;s so awesome when your hard work that you&rsquo;ve been doing for so long with no or little pay actually starts to pay off. I can&rsquo;t explain that feeling to you if you&rsquo;ve never had it. It&rsquo;s like winning the <a href="http://www.nc-educationlottery.org/">lottery but better because you paid for it with your late and sometimes sleepless nights, 2am discussions about what&rsquo;s next and how to make it happen, hearing rumors about yourself that are made up stories, working two jobs and not being able to hold your head up during the day, and time away from your family all to experience the end result and celebrate in it with the people you love. It&rsquo;s all going to be worth it and I wouldn&rsquo;t trade any of what all I just mentioned for anything in the world. <a href="http://www.australiamovie.net/">All you&rsquo;ve got when you move on is your story and I want mine to be a good one.

Lots of love and have a great weekend.

I can’t explain that feeling to you if you’ve never had it. It’s like winning the lottery but better because you paid for it with your late and sometimes sleepless nights, 2am discussions about what’s next and how to make it happen, hearing rumors about yourself that are made up stories, working two jobs and not being able to hold your head up during the day, and time away from your family all to experience the end result and celebrate in it with the people you love. It’s all going to be worth it and I wouldn’t trade any of what all I just mentioned for anything in the world. All you’ve got when you move on is your story and I want mine to be a good one.

Lots of love and have a great weekend.

How Come I Haven't Always Known This?

&nbsp;Why doesn't life come with a manual? &nbsp;I mean really, I'd like to be able to have known the things I know now when I was a teenager. &nbsp;It really should be electrontic so that you can just google up the answer, not a computer where everything else gets in your way and distracts you. &nbsp;This electrontic devise would only have the &quot;right&quot; answers in it and no crappy ones. &nbsp;I'm really beginning to understand life a lot more especially within the last three years. &nbsp;I've been fortunate enough to come accross some people who said a few things to me and pointed me in the direction of understanding 'why' things happen. &nbsp;You see, I believe everything happens for a reason. &nbsp;I didn't used to believe that, matter a fact I couldn't handle any 'bad' thing that came my way without acting as if I just came from an insane asylum. &nbsp;I now experience moments when things are going &quot;wrong&quot; or what I think is wrong and it's all there right in front of my face how &quot;right&quot; it really is. &nbsp;Sometimes you can't see the door for the smoke but if you stop and stay still for a minute the smoke clears and Wow, there's the freaking door. &nbsp;Happens everytime. &nbsp;About six months ago I went to the hospital to see a friend and pulled into the parking building. Just as I did, my truck started smoking like crazy. &nbsp;I didn't panic but immediately drove to the exit and got out of the building as fast as I could. &nbsp;I thought my truck was overheating so I stopped in the middle of the road and put it in park and turned off the ignition switch. &nbsp;People were looking and having to go around but I just sat there, calm and collected as I phoned my husband. &nbsp;He, of course, was at work and couldn't come to my rescue and the other person that usualy comes to my rescue was in the hospital so I just sat there for a few mintues letting the cars pass by and look at me. &nbsp;After a minute or so I thought if maybe I could make it to the gas station which was about 500 yards then I could figure out what to do there. &nbsp;So I cranked it up hoping it didn't blow up and drove as fast as I could to the <a href="http://www.bp.com/bodycopyarticle.do?categoryId=1&amp;contentId=7052055">BP Station next to <a href="http://www.forsythmedicalcenter.org/site/home.html">Forsyth Medical Center. &nbsp;I no more that drove up to the pumps and two guys came out of nowhere and as if they already knew I was having trouble, they said &quot;Pop the hood&quot;. &nbsp;Wow, where did they come from I thought, but didn't question anything and just popped the hood. &nbsp;They had just the right items in their truck to hook up my heater hose and I was able to get my truck over to the mechanic so it could get fixed. &nbsp;I'm still baffled as to how it all happened but think abouit it. &nbsp;If I had not been calm and stopped to think about the problem, I would have not been at that gas station at the same time as those two guys who are Heros by the way. &nbsp;I gave them CDs as a thank you cause I didn't have any cash on me to show my appreciation. They had no idea who I was so they didn't stop because they knew who I was, they stopped because they're just nice guys and didn't even ask for my phone number....lol. So the next time everything seems to be going wrong, just stop and think, pause, be calm and the answer will present itself. &nbsp;The problem is most people jump to decisions before the right one comes along. &nbsp;I've learned otherwise and am thankful to the people in my path that have given me that insight. Have a great weekend and hope you have magic in your life everyday. &nbsp;TD
